EPF (ELECTRICAL, FIREFIGHTING & PLUMBING)

OTHER COURSES

Electrical design entails planning, creating, testing, or supervising the development and installation of electrical equipment, including lighting equipment, power systems, power distribution, fire and life safety systems, electronic components, and voice and data communications infrastructure. Typically, workers in this field are electrical engineers with bachelor’s or even master’s degrees in electrical engineering.

The design of any fire-protection system is an exact science that takes into account a building’s use, occupancy, footprint, and even its other installed systems. Planning for fire protection involves an integrated approach in which system designers need to analyze building components as a total package. In most cases, the analysis needs to go beyond basic code compliance and the owner’s minimum legal responsibilities for providing protection.

Plumbing design usually deals with water distribution and drainage systems, water efficiency, CP & Sanitary fixtures orientation design, waste water treatment process and fire fighting systems. The plumbing designer is involved with systems that overlap into the mechanical, civil & chemical engineering discipline. Plumbing designer is a key position to influence the water efficiency, sustainable site, energy, fire protection and pollution systems. The future of plumbing designing lies in the ability to design systems with the whole building in mind using, preserving and respecting the natural biospheric earth systems of recycling air, waste, and water.
